The Spirit of the Clouds

Splash of white,
you're canvassed well,
on azure secrets,
none can tell.

Who hides behind your silken flight?
what creature knows your course till night?
with feathered fingers grasping well,
and shapes that form from unchaste light.

That spirit hides we know for sure,
in every cloud of haute couture,
what sees it from it's canvas blue?
what mean we to it;  and it to you?

But now I'll tell a tale so true,
it travels round the aqua blue,
with grinning face gliding by,
the spirit of the clouds flies high.
