What God Said That?

Bold colors reflect off of the flag
That is being held high as a symbolism of their pride
Yet it blinds those that claim that they cannot survive
Unless a love like that has died

The church can wave a cross in their face
Tell them that they'll go to hell
If they don't change their ways.
But they have shifted priorities
In a world of hate with race

To claim that you can pray the gay away
When it was never a sin in the first place
Yet the Pope can say he stands for a group of people
Who are not pushed in the church to stay as equals

The flag represents pride
The pride is a rainbow
Inspired by nature
A creation of God

God looked at the world
All that he has created
And said that it is well
If it is a sin

Then who are we to say that we don't judge
But then judge the ones that love who they wish to love
What God said that?
Your alternate motives say that you wish them well

Yet you claim that it is all done,
When you can prove that the way they live is wrong
As if things will change because you don't approve
To think that you will lose

When you can't achieve the goal of making them chose
The life that you choose
What God said that?
