Pain

Nwankwo Goodness 2002 (anambra state)

it hurts
not being able to eat what you want..
what if you do eat!
when?
timing, when?
you lad, have to wait.

it hurts
where?
right, you heard me where?
you don't know the priviledge till you become a victim
oh life, why are you so cruel!
left my family, miss them but can't be with them!

 it hurts
who?
i ate with completely strangers
oh yes, i have to pretend, it well
but it hurts
not being able to eat with who you want to!
it hurts
