Portrait of Temporal Things

Portrait of Temporal Things

Everything I love to keep always snooze up on me the way leaves exit trees in autumn
I am like the stem pondering  how I am able to trust and smile again at spring

Kids and memories are not long time friends
I peeped at my little boy going back to the corner of his misfortune
And I say kids will be kids
It's like the way a second forget it tick in a minute
I wish we can delete memories the way ice quickly melts
Or
The way we clear chats histories
After the first broken promise of love
A goodbye wave from your favourite
Teaches you how to make your body incognito browser page
& turn on the disappearing mode
Lasting as long as seasons
is the way to be the portrait of temporal things.

About this poem

A poem that paints loss vividly and the dynamism of memories in portrait that will ever cling to the reader. It's a short apt poem that reflects hurts and how it changes people. The poem paints human reality in brevity that is simple straightforward but contrived in imagery and well knit metaphors that resonate.s
