Sarkin Pawa pours into terror and love is not enough pill
SARKIN PAWA POURS INTO TERROR AND LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH PILL.
If and only if you are born in Sarkin Pawa,
You cannot carry the insecurities in your mouth with gaping quiet.
We built the houses from the same mud God created the violence
And only demanded a little from the peace it bred.
Our loneliness is more like water and how it erases the scar-shaped
Names off our forehead; the roots we have soared and fell back into.
Sarkin Pawa no longer spits the wholeness it swallowed,
A lot of things have changed. The people look exquisite as terror.
Blood and water, something you pick from a war and bring home.
To survive your hometown, love is not enough pill, there is a larger
War and you might not dissolve. It’s why group of boys in trance
Are allowed to raise their names to the clouds and sing rain,
Drink water and drown like this is how it feels to be part of a lyric
In secular music. There is a time portal for a larger love,
Finding your throat-sized morsel is what matters.
The terror in human nature is like a cup half broken and half full
And unable to cup it own chaos into the soil; a way to say a garden
Is a graveyard for beautiful things; say, man is not beautiful:
saltwater barricading the reality of a glimmering snapshot.
The terror in human nature is his ability to mouth a cold bellum sacrum
Through seventh grade and spit it into his brothers farm, like saying,
Here, grow, everything ugly deserves peace.
