Paradox

Sophia Bañaga 2001 (Dagupan City)

I am a combination of chaos and serenity.
Of equilibrium and inequality.
Of happiness and sadness.
Of anything that is a paradox.

I am a combination of any thing you want me to be.
Of life and death.
Of calmness and havoc.
Of black and white.
Of war and peace.

I could be all that...

For inside my head,
There is a labyrinth with zillions of paths and stories.
You could enter to see, but there's no way in hell you could get out of it.

When you see my insides, tell me how it looks.
I know it's decaying though,
For I'm dead on the inside very long time ago;
But manage to stay alive on the out until now.

Don't pity me.

Don't you ever feel sorry.

I chose to be this.

No.

People who surrounds me did.
