personal euphoria

Gabrielle 2006 (Bulaon, Pampanga)

under the crescent moon in the sky tonight
a figure of light is somehow stuck in this little brain of mine
i'm seizing this moment of my life, while i'm in the amidst of tranquility, i take this as an advantage to ponder different thoughts about you
i'm looking up at the sky, feeling delighted not just of nature, but because of you, entering the scope of my imagination
i know, i will never have the ability to enthrall a man like you
you are flawlessly perfect in every way i can think of
i'm fascinated by everything about you, inside and out
ever since i laid my eyes on you, i've started to count the ways for you to know my name
call me by it and remember it for the rest of your life
but i'm not someone you'll grow quite fond of
it's a fact that if you ever lock your eyes on me, you'll only feel abhorrence and repugnance
i can never be noteworthy and remarkable as you
i can only pour my heart out in secrecy
cause if i write a love letter to you, express the feelings i have for you, my letters will probably be burned into pieces
it's where they deserve to be at
fire and destruction
i conceive and envisage you being mine
the world may call me delusional, but it's where my euphoria lies at
