Putin the Perpetrator and other Dictators
They are all the same these dictators,
there is nothing new about their despotism.
It is the exercise of absolute power
in a cruel and oppressive way, which is the norm
for them. They feed on fear, lies and effective propaganda. Of course, they are into self-denial believing only they are right,
nurtured by their fawning acolytes.
Alas we have seen it in the free world too,
those leaders determined to hang onto power,
less cruel but filled with greed and lies
and narcissistic reasons why they should
remain in democratic limbo. Worshipped by fawning
acolytes they have lost the plot, with
no concept of serving a people or a country.
Luckily, until now, democracy gets rid of them.
But for how long?
Dictators have one belief, to rule the world their way,
a mono-mania of self-deceit. Intoxicated by war, corruption and power. They terrorize when the opportunity arises. That is until, paranoia creeps in and power wanes, as the warmongering fails and they no longer have a place in the new world order. They need to be gone. Before we run out of water, sustenance and sanity, before our earth succumbs to the greed and self-destruction of dictators like Putin and his ilk. There is precious little time to waste on these tyrants and their acolytes.
