The lost one

I feared losing you, but now I have
My dreams have turned into ash.
It's like my heart weighs a million pounds with pain
Making me feel like there is nothing more to gain.
Realizing you are never going to return
Your presence I have to unlearn.
Your touch is now lost
In a span of time so short.
Unbelievable to believe what has happened
You left me so darkened.
Is it even worth living anymore?
With so much pain, not quite sure
You left this world and left me behind
The fear of losing in me has also died.

About this poem
