The Blessed

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

And on the fourth day of the eleventh month he went once again out into the world. But this time only to warn them because he loved them and the time had drawn near for his departure from them.

Let go of your head
And hang onto your hat
We can’t really start
Till you think about that

What you do with your life
Is your business my friend

Whatever you ask for
You’ll get in the end
If you ask God for wisdom
He’ll give you that too

But you better not doubt
If you want what is true

God is long suffering
He’s considered your sin
So, He sent His own Son
So, we could trust in Him

Everyone who calls on
The Name of the Lord
Shall escape from His vengeance
If they trust in His Word

Do you know His word?
It’s good if you do
The Christ is your teacher!
The student is you
