Pandemic of Newspeak

Karl Constantine FOLKES 1935 (Portland)

Modern pandemic:
Culture-war narrative memes.
Like ‘Transgender Rights.’
‘Critical Race Theory.’
Spawned by Social Media.

About this poem

READERS BEWARE: Our modern and most virulent pandemic spreading rapidly among us, is that of the subtle fictional language of ‘Twenty First Century Newspeak,’ spawned by the network of social media that is ever enticing us into its spider’s web.
