Be Still

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

PSALM 37:7
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
Do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
When they carry out their wicked schemes.

The wheels on the bus go round and round
Though all the children gone
And though we have no answer
Yet we still must carry on
How great the price we’ve paid
For all our unbelief and scorn
Because we did not listen
To the words the LORD had warned
He told us to seek Him first
And never turn away
But here we stand in unbelief
Upon the Judgment Day

ZECHARIAH 2:13
Be still before the LORD, all mankind,
because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

PSALM 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
