Past, Present, Future

The way cannot be forced.
So I stopped forcing it.
The past can't be undone
So it's best to let it sit.
Who knows what the future holds?
The stories yet to see.
Will the sun rise again?
Or does time end for me?
The now is what we hold
But hard to let it go.
Trapped in the turmoil zone.
Going with the flow.
One day it shall make sense
Or is this our fleeting hope.
Does the past ever end
With future on a rope.
Take it all in stride,
Life, this bumpy ride
Past, present future ..
Moments of a time
Past, present, future
Turning on a dime.

Josh Hedrington

Sometimes the best way to turn a chapter in your life is to write and release. That's what I do in many of my works to help me move on. I turn an experience into inspiration to write. Other times, I may be inspired just by listening to the stories or experiences of others. There's a reason God gave us two ears and one mouth. Listen more and talk less!! For example my beloved poem, "A New Day and A New Dawn", was inspired after one of many brilliant conversation with my dear friend Cheryl Sullivan. I listened, and received the message and that poem was born. So I dedicate the poem to her, aka The Oracle! I hope all my writings can be a form of inspiration and support for others on this journey called life! more…
