I Surrender All to You

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Okay! Uncle! LORD you win!
Without you I could not begin
The words you’ve given me to say
Without you they would go astray
The many blessings you pour out
They make me want to scream and shout
Apart from you I cannot speak
Lord, your face is all I seek
Though once I sought a fancy car
To me now that seems so bizarre
Why would I want a classy ride?
To take the road where many slides?
They crashed and burned and went to hell
And everyone THAT WENT WITH THEM fell!
