Dear Mother Earth

Dear Mother Earth,
thank you..you've mothered me since I had my first steps on your ground
and even in this grave you've comforted me
I'm sorry I left so early
I couldn't hang on
I couldn't take up the pain of being constantly stepped on although you've been familiar with this feeling since your Genesis
anyway.. I hope you take up these flowers
no one really appreciates you so I have decided to
if there are no flowers, take up their tears and grow trees that bear no sorrow
that are brighter than tomorrow
just like the field of your heart
you taught me strength because even when it rained to held us firm to your ground, striving for our stability but in the process you lost your ability to be you
we made you vulnerable, and of course you put us first

thank you for finding me
before I found myself
really I would have been lost if you hadn't curved up a way for me to escape
