It Stays

I heard that lil shooting
But I still don't know why
People who did nothing
Are just gonna die.

Sweating for wage, for kids and the wife
Family is everything,
You know you can't deny.
Little heat between the leaders
Gonna put you through hell
Can't find food, no shelter
Terror,riches wanna sell.

Tanks been brought,guns and bombs
Ain't that by money from the taxes and all?

Slum's kid been dying out of hunger -
On his own , daddy searching money
No time to moan.

It's always been this way
Big sharks eating lil fish
And you just sit and talk but then
You gonna chill.

Vigilant are people cause
We are asking why
After all these years
Missiles are what you still buy.

About this poem

This attempt of mine is about Modern world war terror. The violence of neo-colonialism spreading like wild fire is putting people in misery and making the world peace a farce. War never differentiates between guilty and innocent, nor it does good to humanity. So my question is if we humans are so much developed through the years , why it is that the terror and horror still hunts our everyday life.
