Prayer

This fall in gold came

and shine above my sky

a soft song sang above the ground

and dyed the soul ocher.

 

 I close my eyes as if in a dream

and I merge into the dawn outside

I become part of nature's call

 life with blessing comes into me.

 

I repeat a short prayer in my mind

 golden rain pours noiselessly

 I'm looking for words of love and tenderness

and this carelessness consumes me.

 

A light breeze crept through my hair

my dreams flew ethereally

I became a drop of an autumn leaf

thrill, breeze, in my day radiant.
