THE MISSING PART OF ME

If hope really does exist then maybe it wasn't meant for me or maybe the one meant for me is hidden some place I'm not supposed to see
Cause in the dark night I put the lights on,so I could wait for the hope brought about by dawn
The dawn already came but I'm yet to see the day,and though I did see a light I still can't find my way
I can see the sun shining but my world isn't seeing it's light, and though everything is okay I can't help but not feel alright
There's a light at the end of the tunnel,it's the one that I seek, perhaps it's unreachable, but I don't think so cause I'm not that weak
And so I keep going I must get there no matter what, then why is it that after walking for miles I realize I haven't moved a spot?
It's starting to feel like an endless journey,a race in which the finish line is only a dream,or maybe being stuck in a nightmare, one I can't get out of no matter how much I scream
I'm still standing, still dreaming, still planning for the future ahead, because of all the hope I had saved up in my head,
It used to help me alot before, but now it's like it's not there anymore,
Perhaps I lost it along the way,I misplaced it,or did I throw it away?
Wherever it is I hope it comes back, cause that is the only way to get back on track
Cause hope to me is something that,is a very important part of my heart,
I hope someday I'll be back with it, cause that's the only way that I will be complete.
