God

when the night is known, and the day is anticipated,
when the moon is shown, and the sun is frustrated,
when darkness has grown, and light unelaborated,
when mystery is dominant, and knowledge is suppressed,
when men sleep, and forces unleashed;
there is an eye that watches,
a hand that keeps,
an enlightener,
an assurer,
my peace,
my God.

About this poem

The Supremacy and involvement of God in our daily existence is incomprehensibly true. He is good, and so it is worth noting.
