THINK FOR YOURSELF

The government gave you a number your parents gave you your name. They continued to provide you with the same flavor of Kool-Aid to drink, so all your life, it was their words and beliefs they wanted you to think.

The black sheep is the prettiest one out of the hearing because he is the only one who cares to think on his own
Ma told me as a young child, my dear boy, why not conform to society? Why must you be so out of control and wild?

I played along for so many years. I wiped away my tears
call me what you will bitch about, how I can never stand still, and I am always on the run carrying my book full of thoughts hoping and praying that I never get caught. I  have an escape plan; I refuse to bow to the man.

I am an old soul who will remain free because I think for myself, and I am not a slave to the machine
so I hide out inside the shadows of the night, spreading the word gathering up other rebels, and teaching them how to break the chains and fight the good fight until the morning comes and we have to hide from their artificial light

We have the power. We have minds now is the time to think for yourself.
