Poem for a child

Poem for a child

Free like a bird.
No worry no strain.
Delightly play in dirt.
A life without complain.
Always happy ,
joyful cheer.
No burden to carry...
nothing to fear.
An innocence so pure ,
must be guarded and kept secure.
Need love and care.
From a world that's not fair.
Say I love you every day!
Might keep them from going astray.
All you gan give is prayer and love. And just a hope that it's enough.

About this poem

We are living in a country where our kids and women face abuse everyday. I was inspired by events happening around me
