Woman's Confidence
As plain as day,
A moment has been remembered,
Young adult age,
In work uniform,
In the back of one's job,
A confident young man,
Exchanging words with a co-worker,
This co-worker is an overpowering woman,
Walked into a loud and intriguing conversation,
With a profound ending,
"Men like confident women."
Both parties depart,
Leaving a young less than confident woman alone,
It's like he knew,
It's like he realized,
That young woman wasn't confident,
Due to a troubled past,
And no solid evidence to believe in oneself,
From that moment on,
The confidence that was lacked was faked,
So that men can see a glimmer,
That glimmer that makes one attractive to a man's eye,
It's like the confidence was transparent,
No suitor came forward,
The same as always,
Change was so overrated,
Times changed,
Real confidence grew,
A strong front,
And a solid foot planted,
Confidence was easily seen,
No real difference came to par,
Just a perspective of intimidation,
That can scare a small child let alone a man,
