The Renaissance of Resilience
In bygone days, when existence was austere,
And those nearest to thee did rend thy heart,
Disappointments came like tempestuous deluge,
Leaving thee mired in a morass of despair.
But let not the past oppress thy spirit,
Nor permit it to upset thy world's axis,
For none have the right to pass judgment,
Thou hast the power to surmount all crisis.
Therefore, take thy time and proceed at thy own gait,
There is no need to hasten,
Be circumspect, be sagacious,
This is thy opportunity to begin anew, to restart.
The pilgrimage may be long, the path may be rough,
But thou hast the fortitude, thou hast the mettle,
To overcome any obstacle that may impede thy way,
For thou art an epic hero, valiant and genuine,
On a quest to discover felicity and begin anew.
