Push and Pull

What’s the point? Why do I bother?

Try to help, never do anything right
Try to speak, never do anything right
Stay quiet, never do anything right
Act happy, never do anything right
Be myself, never do anything right
Money gone on bills/household
My money, your money
Everything divided
Everything is a battle
Kids/discipline, never do anything right
Intimacy, never enough or never wants me
Push and pull, never do anything right

What’s the point? Why do I bother?

Try to protect, never do anything right
Try to stay strong, never do anything right
Try to take care of self, never do anything right
Try to take care of others, never do anything right
Act happy, never do anything right
Be myself, never do anything right
His and hers, never do anything right
Everything divided
Everything is a battle
Push and pull, never do anything right
