Pure Peace

The weather was warm and bright on that winter day just like her smile

A smile that could take your breath away or make you feel welcomed into her pure heart

She shined all the days or her trial and what peace she had when she spoke of wanting to go be with Jesus

She spoke with a tired joy in her voice
One I will never forget

Oh how we miss everything she was but thankful for the peace that comes with knowing where she is

Made new she walks now
Right there
Right there with Jesus

About this poem

This poem as about someone that had so much to do with my spiritual walk that passed from a battle with cancer.
