See Ya!

What did you expect me to do
You know I don’t have my car
I saw you with that strange woman
The one we had met at the bar

You two looked pretty cozy
Laughing and carrying on
You acted like you didn’t know me
As if you wanted me gone

Is this your way of saying
That we are officially through
I thought that you were different
Then you played me like a fool

You didn’t even tell me
That you were going to leave
I saw you sneaking out the back
As she held onto your sleeve

I had to hail a cab
My only way to get home
I called you several times
Yet you refused to answer your phone

Something happened today
I wanted to tell you about
It had to do with our future
Which is now in serious doubt

Today I won the lottery
I’m a multi-millionaire
Since we are no longer engaged
I have no reason to share

Give my regards to your friend
I hope she is all you desire
You’ll have to excuse me now
I’m on my way to retire

Have a nice life…
