Honest Look

Self-centered fear, honest look, examination is all it took. For me to see, the defects that be, hidden beneath the surface of me, didn't take long to see all the wrong, how I hurt others and carried along, like nothing had changed, never telling my part, only hiding them deep within my heart, today's not the same as time in the past, I don't want the pain to linger and last, I give it away not holding on, to the things that I've done especially the wrong, I make my amends quick as can be, setting aside that self-centered fear that's in me.
