Your love came so unexpectedly, I wasn't looking for you and yet there you were
Full of imperfections but that's what made you special
A kind heart
Kindred spirit
That calm aura that radiates all over me
The way your smile can melt away the ice that once surrounded my heart
Your patience in healing wounds you did not create, repairing a heart that you didn't break.
Exposing ourselves to the unknown
You speak words of affirmation and fill all the negatives
I wasn't looking for you and yet there you were.

This poem is for anyone who wasn't looking for love yet found it, because like all hopeless romantics I believe love finds you when you least expect it
