Untitled

What is identity?

What do we seek?

What are we trying to find

What makes us so wary

Searching

For something

That

Will give us feeling

Give us difference

Distinguish ourselves from one another

Give us identity

Because we need

it

We need difference

We can’t be similar

(It isn’t us)

Without identity

We are 8 billion twins

Floating in

indifference

Being together

A hive mind

A selfless character

A system

Of clones

So we aren’t friends

We hide it

We brag it

We mock it

We claim it is being suppressed

But it is us

we are different

we have identity

We are characters
