Whispers of the Moon
Phantom Ink (i want to stay anonymous so i wont give my real name) 2004 (Johannesburg)
In the deep expanse of the night sky,
The moon unveils its mystic light,
A celestial beacon, serene and high,
Guiding souls through the darkness of night.
Whispers of the moon, soft and tender,
Echo through the stillness of the air,
Unveiling secrets, their essence to render,
Awakening dreams and banishing despair.
Silver threads dance upon its face,
Mapping stories of forgotten lands,
A timeless symphony of grace,
Crafted by the moon's enchanting hands.
It whispers to the dreamers lost,
Those yearning hearts in need of a guide,
A luminescent path, free from the cost,
Where hopes and aspirations coincide.
Through gentle beams, it paints the world,
In shades of silver, ethereal and bright,
Casting its glow, softly unfurled,
A celestial presence, pure and alight.
Oh, whispers of the moon, reveal your lore,
Illuminate our dreams, our deepest desire,
Guide us on paths never tread before,
Ignite our spirits, set our souls on fire.
So, let us bask in the moon's embrace,
And listen closely to its whispered call,
For within its glow, we find solace and grace,
A celestial symphony, enchanting us all.
