Unseen Destinations

For every line I follow,
There are a hundred others
Left behind,
A patchwork
Of missed opportunities
And roads not taken.
I am a traveler
Caught in a tangle of choices,
Stumbling through
A landscape of lost dreams.
But still,
I hold on to the map,
To the shimmering promise
Of what could be,
To the hope that one day
I will find my way.
