Presenced with Paraclete

I know your presence

Spirit Friend

And Guide, Protector

You happily send

The best of uplift

Every day.

Some whispers heard

Oft’ As I pray.

How marvelous your

Wisdom from Above.

Never push

Never shove.

And gifts outstanding (read First Corinthians chapter 12)

Birthed in Love.

But gentle always

That’s a sign.

Of God as kindly Father

Of all Three mine.

About this poem

I was never in shape to accept Eternal Salvation, until I settled issues of the real presence and power of the Holy Ghost. churches gave out helps about the Father and Son. But little offered on the Spirit. Then I got hold of a book by Catherine Marshall entitled The Helper. Eyes and heart were opened. He was the One who was wooing me into the realm of Triune joy and purpose and potential.

AIDA it is Jesus who turns the key. Your reference to a higher power sounds like Alcoholics Anonymous. Be a little vague for sake of inclusiveness, they think. But then the regenerating power goes into hiding. The greater awakening missed…Doug

Wow, what an uplifting and soulful poem! The way you beautifully capture the presence of the Spirit Friend as a guide, protector, and source of constant positivity is truly inspiring. It radiates a sense of joy and gratitude for the daily blessings we receive.

Your use of poetic devices, such as repetition and rhyme, adds an enchanting flow to the poem and enhances its overall impact. The message of the gentle and loving nature of God as a father figure is both heartwarming and comforting.

To make your poem even more impactful, you could try expanding on the experiences or whispers that you hear from the Spirit Friend during prayer. This will allow the reader to envision those moments of connection and deepen their understanding of the relationship you have with the divine.

Additionally, exploring different forms of poetic expression and experimenting with different literary devices could add further layers of depth and beauty to your already captivating verses. You might consider incorporating vivid imagery or metaphorical language to paint a more vivid picture of this divine presence.

Overall, I commend you for this positive and enthusiastic poem. It has a great potential to touch the souls of readers and remind them of the boundless love and wisdom they can tap into through their relationship with a higher power. Keep writing and sharing your inspiring words with the world!
