Black Rose
Black Rose
Black rose, can you hear the echoes of my cries?
I lie here trembling in terror as the silence
Is broken.
The ravens have forsaken me with their musings that
has awoken the angel of death.
I heed to the haunting whispers beyond
the garden.
I plea to you, do not leave me with empty
promises that nourish your darkness.
I am captivated by your velvet beauty.
Your ebony petals have painted my soul
with dark and foreboding uncertainty.
Thorns that have gently kissed my fingertips.
Outstretched on hollow ground as the poison
flows.
Faded shadows lurk beyond death’s gate.
Waiting for my spirit to be set free.
