To The Heart

To the heart that can't let go,
And feels apathy towards the world below.
I see you, and I feel your pain,
And I want to help you break those chains.

Though it seems like there's no hope,
And you struggle just to cope,
Know that you are not alone,
And that love can still be shown.

For even in the darkest night,
There can be a glimmer of light.
And though your heart may not feel it now,
I'll keep on loving, anyhow.

For love can heal the deepest pain,
and help us find our way again.
So let me be the one to show,
That love can help you let go.

About this poem

I wrote this poem because there is a heart out there that needs to know it can still love and be loved.
