I actually wrote this way back when I was still in high school round 2010 but it stuck in my head every now and again. I'm from Enterprise down in Wallowa County, OR. Thought my dad might get a little laugh out of my poem thinking it'd be me running. He has stage 4 cancer an hasn't been doing to good, an even if things are a bit rough right now I just really wanted to make him smile a little more cause I love and care about him very much.
