Mending Hearts
In our love, when we were two,
We were wrapped in eternal dreams so true,
But alas, fate tore us apart,
We divorced, with heavy hearts.
Today, we come together, hands entwined,
To seek forgiveness, to reconnect our minds,
Our children bear witness to our love's past,
For them and their well-being, let forgiveness last.
Words stuck and regrets submerged,
Today, we accept, believing we can emerge,
Let's speak with love, erase the pain,
Supporting each other, our family's again.
Our children need love and unity,
Let's strive to give them that, free from hostility,
Together in this great responsibility we share,
Increasing love and building a joyful lair.
Let's leave the past's pain behind,
Build a foundation of unwavering kind,
Let's support and trust each other anew,
Protecting our children with love that's true.
With the love that still resides in our hearts,
Let's nurture our children with boundless starts,
Working together as a team of love's embrace,
As we embark on this new chapter's grace.
We, divorced couples, striving to forgiveness,
Acknowledge the value of family and kinship to live,
Let's take joint responsibility for our offspring's sake,
As we seek forgiveness, let our love's bond remake.
In this Journey of forgiveness, let's remember,
To strengthen our love and be a beacon of light, never.
May we become an example for others to behold,
With faith and hope, let our genuine love unfold.
