Remember Me

Roger Burns 1957 (Owensboro Ky)

July 23

Remember me when you grow old
Of days gone by and stories told
You look at the chair with no one there
Wishing that you again could share

Memories come flooding back
Lovely stories of which you lack
Mom & Dad you miss so dearly
Times you shared oh so clearly

Time is a cruel host
It's over when you want it most
