Treasure ship

As twilight plays with the gentle breeze
dawning skies painting magnificent pictures
on new horizons.  

A treasure ship drifts ever further on  
on its journey to destination beyond  

on the wind and sea
as we dream away the hours

warm and cozy by the fireside
beyond restrictions of time and space

locked in each other’s eyes,

heart and mind holding for dear life
to each other

With a firm, warm loving embrace,

you deliver here to my heart
comes from exotic faraway places  

i love you for that, too.

The best of what exists within me
responds in kind, returning  

Upon its own journey
