Ascendance

She stood at the edge of the cliff

Tears in her eyes and slits in her wrist

Wondering if she would be missed
She stops the thought as fast as it came

And let the darkness take over once again

The fire starts from her chest and  towards the moon lit sky

What a beautiful night to die

No more pain, no more lies

No more shame, no need for a disguise

Her body goes numb

But the burn she feels is that of a thousand suns

In death she never felt more alive

With her last breath she dives into the sky
