Sweet sister of mine

I miss your voice, I miss your face, I miss the way you laugh, I miss the way your beautiful brown eyes shine. I guess what I'm trying to say is I you deeply sweet sister of mine. I wasn't ready for you to leave me so soon but like a thief in the night God took you away from me by sending his angel to tell you it's time. Now I sit here with an emptiness that no words could ever define, they say this pain takes time to heal, but what do they know, they don't feel the way I feel? Tonight before God I will bow my head and kneel to thank him for the time I had with you and taking you from your pain because you are suffering no more, but still I would give my next dying breath to see your beautiful face and tell you I love you once more. I will find you always when I look up at night, because you will be the brightest star in the sky, I will find peace each time I see you shine, I love you and I miss you sweet sister of mine.
