For 365 days and more, I wished that you were here.
Call it 366 days and more, when it’s a leap year.
Every second, every minute, I think of you with no limit.
It’s like an addiction, one that will take years to detach from.
In you I thought I found a partner,
one who would hold me down for life.
If only I read the signs, maybe then, I won’t
hurt this much.
I’ve heard that you never really unlove a person,
 you only learn to live without them.
But I’m starting to doubt if it’s true.
For living without you, has brought me to ruin.
You know everywhere is bright, and yet I can’t see the light.
How can I live my whole life without you by my side.
And yet, how can I live my whole life,
 thinking about our love, especially now that I know it is lost.
I know that there are lots of pain in this world, but this pain for me, is the worse of them all.
But one who lives, lives to love another day.
Fingers crossed, one day I would be able to say,
That my heart finally got the healing it needed.
