Falling For You!

Let me start by saying …
You caught me by surprise!

Me, Not wanting to come,
In-between a family still applies.

I have all respect and know where I stand
You have been so honest with me,
And I do understand
You are such an amazing man!

I did not plan any of this …
BUT when I am alone,
It’s YOU I want and miss!

There are a million reasons why,
I should give you up and walk away …
BUT when I see you,
these feelings go away & stray!

There is something about YOU
We have this amazing connection,
I know you are feeling it too!

I know you will stay, till I find someone great,
BUT … Can I be honest?!?
Not falling for you …
It may be too late!

I can see the Dead End in bold fonts
There is this one saying
“The Heart Wants What It Wants”!!!

All I know is, when it comes to you …

*I have admiration for you!
*I enjoy every moment spent with you!
*I like getting to know everything about you!
*I look forward to talking to you!

One last thing, I want to confess…

*I am Falling In Love With YOU!!!*

About this poem

I wrote this poem back on 9/7/2019. I met someone unexpectedly in May of that year and it took me by surprise because I was not looking for him. The connection between 2 souls is so real! I do believe in “Love at first sight”!!!
