Life lessons learned

In this world we live in,
We all make mistakes,
Within our teenage prime,
With so many hearts that break.

Forgiven by the elderly,
And despised by all their young,
With their hatred and their jealousy,
From the sharpness of their tongue’s.

Reflecting all our wisdom,
Betraying unwritten rules,
Loving while we’re so young,
We forget who are the fools.

About this poem

I wrote it when I was 17 and only wished I’d listened to it before understanding how definite it really is.

Krissie Beccaris

My poetry is based on the emotional attachment of life’s experiences, too process and analyse my perspective then to share, and if life’s experiences are hard to bare and it’s difficult to find a good note or outcome? You can always learn from it. Leaving me with something positive after all  more…
