Where the colourless and the colourful
Meet in a single, silent, smudge

Casting deep, dramatic strokes
Fine tipped, added
Texture, tone
Subtle synonyms, entwined

A brush works
Thick, dripped,
With riddle and rhyme
Until
The work of words is done
