Salty Sea

I lay my head upon the pillow to dream of sweetness and yet find myself in a storm that picks me up and puts me out to sea.

The rough waters crash against me as the tears from heaven or be it hell fills up the already endless sea. Thunder claps in the distance as I struggle to keep my head above the water.
Spying an old galley off yonder that fairs no better than I. I struggle to breathe with mouth, throat  and lungs filling with the salty sea.

Wake I shout, Wake! Yet I never do.
