It’s Time To Break The Cycle (Bussokusekika)

It’s Time To Break The Cycle    (Bussokusekika)

My kids may believe
That I am the narcissist
Believe what they may
They have not walked in my shoes
I don’t manipulate them
It’s time to break the cycle

About this poem

I could try to explain the sentiments and reasons behind this one…But I feel as if my children are grown and it is time for them to learn their own lessons in life…Money is the devil, my daughter once used these words long ago…And it really shouldn’t matter how much money you are making where you’re at if you are not happy where you’re at…I have learned long ago that money can’t buy me happiness…Nobody has to buy me gifts to prove to me that they love me…It does make me happy when gifts are given to me freely from the heart…Those are the gifts I cherish…I am not very good at giving gifts…I guess that that may make me a narcissist in some peoples eyes…Oh well…Thus is life…
