White Collar Fella

This fella in a suit and tie
Thinks I'm the job he knows about.
I smile, he smiles, we smile a lot
But my heart never gets the joke.
One time he asked  "so it's a yes?"
And I was like 'a yes to what?'
He looked at me like Peter did
When Judas betrayed with a kiss.
Even then I could've laughed
But for his sake I kept my cool
So he don't think he played the fool.
But didn't he learn from interviews
That smiles don't guarantee the job?
