Padre Mio Makes A Friend

Padre Mio lived in Rio,
Close to the deep blue sea.
When he was lonely,
he walked all over
and rested by the quay.

Padre Mio had no friends,
Who lived with him in Rio,
But over the years,
He'd found someone,
and that was a boy called Leo.

Leo sold margarine down by the quay,
He sold some butter too.
and when he was done,
he picked up his things,
And knew what he had to do.

Leo left town with Padre Mio
They needed to start afresh
It just wouldn't work
If they stayed by the quay
surrounded by all that mesh.
