Finding God (When I Needed Him Most)
Finding God (When I Needed Him Most)
In my search for meaning, I sought with every breath,
Seeking solace, searching for a connection, beyond this mortal flesh,
Through the depths of my own heart and the echoes of my mind,
I embarked on a journey, a quest to find the divine.
Through the arid deserts, and the tempest's mighty roar,
I traversed rocky mountains, seeking something more,
Through the tears that cascaded, and the prayers I cried,
I longed to find God's presence, to feel divinity deep inside.
When I needed Him most, His grace appeared like a flame,
Softly whispering comfort, His voice forever the same,
In the quiet moments, when confusion clouded my sight,
God's light illuminated my path, guiding me through the night.
God's essence resides in the tapestry of life's grand design,
In the gentle touch of a loved one, in a stranger's eyes so kind,
For He is not bound by walls or constrained by human bounds,
His love radiates through us all, in every whisper, in every sound.
So when you find yourself adrift, lost in sorrow's deep abyss,
Remember, God is found not amidst chaos, but in love's sweet kiss,
For even in the darkest hour, when your heart is filled with doubt,
God is there to guide you, to restore the faith you once devout.
In the moments of surrender, when you lay bare your soul,
God's presence envelops you, making brokenness whole,
So seek Him in the silence, find solace in His embrace,
For in finding God anew, you'll rediscover boundless grace.
About this poem
Discovering the Power of Faith: My journey from brokenness to happiness. As I sat with my pen and paper, staring at the blank page before me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness. My heart was heavy with the weight of past hurts and my mind was consumed by the fear of an uncertain future. I had always struggled with faith, finding it difficult to believe in something I couldn't see or touch. But as I began to write, something unexpected happened. The words flowed easily, pouring out of me like a river of hope. I wrote of my struggles, my doubts, and my fears, but also of the light that had always been present, even in the darkest of times. I wrote of the love and grace that had carried me through the storms of life, and of the peace that had settled in my heart when I had finally surrendered to faith. As I wrote, I felt a sense of healing taking place within me. The brokenness that had once defined me began to melt away, replaced by a sense of purpose and joy. I r more »
