Potatoes

Potatoes 2000 (New York)

Grown in the depths of the land
It’s shape is so grand
When it’s time, it turns a tawny bronze
As beautiful and pure as the swans
When prepared they draw out a luxurious aroma
Grown from Idaho to Oklahoma
Make it mashed, make it hashed
Make it frizzle, make it fried
Make it crispy, make it flimsy
Make it a dish on the side
